DROPS Lima is a 4 strands sport yarn, the continuation of our bestseller DROPS Nepal. Made from a combination of 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca, its fibers are untreated, which means that they are only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This highlights the fibers\u2019 natural properties, while it provides also a better shape and texture quality.<\/p>\n
DROPS Lima is perfect for outdoor garments like classic Norwegian sweaters and sportswear, that are usually knitted tight for good shape stability. Hard wearing and durable like any great wool yarn should be, it has also the lovely properties from the alpaca, being soft and comfortable. A sport yarn with a touch of luxury!<\/p>\n
DROPS Lima contains mixed colours, this means the wool is manufactured by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives it a mixed effect.<\/p>\n
